May ushers in celebrations: Mothers’ Day, Memorial Day, graduations, weddings, anniversaries, end of year classes and games. We had our own special celebration here this month: a surprise birthday party weekend for Jeff’s 80th! Friends and family from near and far gathered—the youngest, our newest granddaughter, Serena, just 5 weeks and the oldest, 86.

These longer days entice us to spend more time outdoors to enjoy the beauty of nature in springtime. This is a busy time in the gardens and this year we are selling plants and seeds from the nursery. We also offering two new spa treatments—a four handed massage & Biofield Tuning!
Joan’s Creative Journey Retreat in April went well. One of the attendees wrote:
“I have never considered myself as creative or artistic but the idea of this retreat continued percolating in my mind until I finally signed up. I am so glad I did! It was a playful experience …to mine my own creativity.”
