Join local mycological enthusiast Adrienne Long for an exploration experience. Adrienne has been leading nature tours on the Mendocino Coast for the past seven years and was a student of naturalist, Dr. Ryane Snow. Meet in the Stanford Inn lobby for an introductory mushroom talk before heading out to explore the local forests and meadows. Tours last 1.5 to 2 hours.

Stanford Inn’s Catch-a-Canoe and Bicycles, too!

Friday, November 3 – Sunday, November 12

Catch-A-Canoe self-guided outrigger tours: Explore Big River Estuary in locally designed/crafted redwood outrigger canoes. Receive a complimentary map of Big River Estuary with photographs depicting Big River’s history. See mushrooms growing along the high banks!

Rent a Cannondale or other bike and explore coastal bluffs and logging roads. Mushrooms grow along the old roads and paths. Enjoy seeing them, but unless you are knowledgeable, only take a photograph!
